Christmas is the celebration of Jesus' birth on earth. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and so Christmas is a very special occasion when God becomes one of us.
Christmas is generally recognized as a time of fun and frolic. The staff and students of Don Bosco, Parra gathered together in festive spirit to celebrate the Christmas event on December 22, 2021. Students came in their fanciest attire and smiles were to be found on every face. Fr. Wilfred Fernandes, the Rector, explained the meaning and significance of Christmas in his address. The students enthusiastically participated in competitions that were geared to bringing out their talents and helping them work together. Snacks were distributed as the students left. Needless to say, umpteen photographs were taken to capture the sweet memories that were made that day.
