Provincial Visitation - November 2021

The annual Provincial visitation of Don Bosco, Parra took place on 27-28 November, 2021. Fr. Felix Fernandes, the Provincial arrived on the morning of the 27th and was taken around the complex by Fr. Wilfred, the rector. He was able to witness firsthand the development of the house and its surroundings and got the opportunity to meet and interact with the Salesians, staff and students. The football and basketball courts were under construction and the Provincial had a personal meeting with the PWD contractor tasked with the job. Over the course of his stay, he had meetings with the House council, the Educative-Pastoral Committee (EPC), the NIOS and vocational training staff, students and Devotees of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA).

Before leaving on the 28th, he presented his report in which he lauded the community for the work carried out and pointed out a few areas that needed attention.
